I’d be lying if I said I got this show straight away, but I persevered and thank god I did. After three series this show, that many have dubbed “Arrested-Development meets James-Bond“, has evolved in to nothing short of genius.
After losing the majority of its main cast, Being Human series 4 was always going to struggle. And while this series definitely varied in quality, like all the previous series, this was all the about the finale. Next year will be interesting as the show appears to heading down the soft-reset root.
Whilst Hank Moody is still the man, this show has definitely seen better days. Weak story-lines aside, this series featured some horribly written characters not the least being the cliché-ridden rapper Samurai Apocalypse (portrayed by RZA).
Looking for a simple sit-com to fill that post-Friends void but like me, can’t stand How I Met Your Mother? Then look no further than Happy Endings. It doesn’t re-write the book by any means but it’s features a cast of super-likeable people including Eisha Cuthbert (24) and Eliza Coupe (Scrubs).
I’ve sung the praises of this show before, and I’ll do it again. I defy any man, woman or child, to sit through this show and not find something to like. Much like Happy Endings above, this show doesn’t bring anything new to the table but that doesn’t stop it from being bloody funny.
