What We’re Watching: June Update

Watched

Word is that next series is going to be the last, and if this series was anything to go by 30 Rock going to go out strong. With episodes such as the genius “Leap Day” (directed by Steve Buscemi), this show is still as funny as it ever was.

Series 3 of the Square Eyed favourite featured some of it’s best episodes yet, the alternative reality tackling “Remedial Chaos Theory”, the Law & Order inspired “Basic Lupine Urology” and the difficult-to-explain “Curriculum Unavailable”. Hopefully this quality will continue next series, despite the departure of creator Dan Harmon. read more »

Theme Tune Tuesdays: Vol. 7

I’ve recently started watching It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, a show that follows three best friends who own a bar together. Don’t worry there are hijinks aplenty. The reason I picked this track is because it’s a bit different, it’s not overtly kooky, or achingly cool, it’s just a nice piece of old-school classical music.
