Revolution comes from the team of exec producer JJ Abrams – creator of shows such as Lost and Alias (we approve), director Jon Favreau – famous for directing the Iron Man movies, and he also wrote Swingers (we approve) and finally we have creator Eric Kripke – who also created the surprisingly successful Supernatural (meh).

Whack 10th June in your diaries people because that’s when True Blood is coming back (well to the US anyway). As always it looks like shit will be hitting the fan, as we get the fallout from the shocking finale of series four.
Whilst this trailer does get us pretty pumped for the return of Sookie and The Gang, it’s hard to forget how much of a let down last series was. Lame villains, pointless side-stories and a retarded Eric all pulled the show down in quality. Having said that, this trailer damn sure looks like a step in the right direction.

The amazingly charming clip above is taken from Cartoon Network’s new animation block dedicated to DC Comics – DC Nation (we’ve mentioned it before). Between episodes of Young Justice and Green Lantern, shorts such as the one above are shown. This particular short is part of a series called Super Best Friends Forever and is from former Powerpuff Girls writer and creator of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Lauren Faust.
